"Save Our Skills" Summer School Program
Last summer, the Catholic Education Collaborative and three of our Partner schools sponsored the 2nd Academic Summer School program for incoming 1st-8th graders. The purpose of the summer program is to:
-Maintain and reinforce basic grade-level skills.
-Teach critical "school survival" skills like using a calculator, or how to use a multiplication table.
-Incorporate study skills within lessons
To see the significant impact the program made on students' skills, please view the 2010 Save Our Skills Summer School Evaluation. To view parents' satisfaction with their student's progress upon entering the school year, please click here.
